Embedding Youtube Videos With Captions Turned On

Some YouTube videos come with captions. If you're posting a video in French or Serbian then it might not be a bad idea to turn on the English language captions (if they exist)
Unfortunately YouTube's default embed code these days does not include any of these options, as it's a rather simple iframe
You can, however, add the captioning to any video if you use the older style embed code.
YouTube's help docs here explain it - you'll just need to ensure that you add the full code snippet / tag to your embed code ie. "&cc_load_policy=1"
So your code can end up looking a bit like this:
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/C0tUDIyDLZk?version=3&hl=en_US&cc_load_policy=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/C0tUDIyDLZk?version=3&hl=en_US&cc_load_policy=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Which will render this:

My Sister Gets A Shout Out On Australian TV
My younger sister works as a producer for one of the Australian TV channels on their breakfast show. As a producer that means she's working behind the scenes and is neither seen on camera or mentioned - most of the time:
In the short video clip they're talking about a really pathetic "special offer" that Eve came across in a supermarket. Oddly enough I've seen several of these kind of offers recently ie. you "save" a mere 1 or 2 cents. Guess it's become a bit of a global phenomenon

What Startups Need To Realise
This video has been doing the rounds for the last few days. It's amusing (and a small bit NSFW) but also very realistic. The number of times I've seen emails and forum queries from people who think that their idea is original and guaranteed overnight success ..
There's nothing wrong with being confident in your plans, but you need to be realistic!

The Irony Of Education

(In case the video gets removed .. Lisa Simpson meets Zuckerberg who is a college drop out. He points to other college drop outs such as Bill Gates and Richard Branson. The only person who isn't a college drop out is a cleaner..)
