My mother will be moving house within the next couple of weeks.
Hardly newsworthy or even worthy of a blog post .. but when you consider the amount of trouble she had with the entire process of building the house you quickly realise it’s a milestone
Of course now both my mother and my sister have houses of their own, so I feel a bit left out 
(Though considering the way the property market is now I don’t expect to do anything about that in the immediate future)

Me? No. I’ve decided to hold off for the moment. The market is all over the place and the banks aren’t too happy about lending, so it’s probably best to keep renting for the moment

Wait until early 2010 and that will be the time to buy houses, because the large housing estates that were built by developers will now suddenly drop further in price than they have until now…
The only property going any way’s cheap now are holiday homes and houses that were bought on a buy2let basis.

Related to your own BUY, wait ’till 2011 after NAMA takes over the debts properly and the prices will be rock bottom (I hope).
