Clients Can Be Weird About Payments

Whether there's an "economic downturn" or not you'll always find people who simply don't "get" the concept of paying for stuff.

I mentioned this issue on Twitter earlier today and a couple of people sent me links to these absolutely hilarious videos. Apologies if the display is a bit odd - width may be a problem:



Of course if someone owes you money they really need to pay you .. Stewie's take on this is .. well .. em .. violent?

Hilarious videos. And yet so true. Except the part about a baby beating the crap out of a talking dog. :-)

We've found a hilarious trait with some of our customers.

If you send them a bill for, say, €362.29 including VAT, they pop a cheque in the post to you - months late - for €360.00.

I love being Irish.

The random payment amount trick is one some of our clients love as well .. It makes settling their accounts "interesting"

I really believe in customer service and working with clients to find a product/service/price point that suits them....but once the invoice is due then I expect to be paid. Late payment makes me mad.
