While I was away over the last few days in London that does not mean that I was either out of “the loop” or that emails didn’t stop arriving!
This weekend’s Computers in Business supplement with the Sunday Business Post contains three mentions of us:
- My monthly column
- The annual hosting report
- The wiki infamy thing was picked up by them and is on the inside back page, even if they got the cartoon character wrong

From Francesco:
What does the article say? Besides the mortal sin of confusing Homer with CBG, they seem to believe the page was actually on the real wikipedia… rather than on a mockup of a wikipedia page… what kind of newspapers do you read??
From David Behan:
Yeah, I thought it was comic book guy, no? I like the way they showed how to pronounce your name correctly
From Eoin Costello:
Ah well as Oscar Wilde said the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.
Francesco: The journo was reading the screen shot Michele has on his blog, the screen shot cuts off 50% off the text that was in the mock page. As it was only a wind up I took the page off my website shortly after it went live.
Given that this blew up a month ago it is strange that the journo picked up on it now. I rang Michele personally weeks ago about the page on my site and its removal.
