While doing some shopping in Aldi this afternoon I spotted this sign.
I know that vendors have to be careful, but do they think we’re all stupid?
From Eoin:
It’s nuts really!
From John:
“Oh So Natural Wholefoods Nut Mix. Ingredients 99% Shredded Chinese Newspaper, 1% Salt (Warning: May contain Nut Traces”
From laura:
Michele you have had IT folks ask what a .pdf is, Aldi are only allowing for the fact that some people are just … special!
From laura:
Michele, you’ve had IT folks ask what a .pdf is. So Aldi is being helpful and allowing for the fact that some people are a bit…. special!
From Don Speekingleesh:
Tesco’s version of Weetabix has a warning about containing wheat, even though it’s called something like: “Tesco Wheat Biscuts. Made from 100% pure wheat.”
From laura:
Aldi thinks “we were dumb” or “we are dumb”? (we’re)
From Michele Neylon:
@Laura – nicely spotted. I’ll fix that!
From GiveItSocks:
I have to agree with Laura on this.
Anything that helps not getting sued by so called “dumb” people it’s worth a large sign like that.
From Mark:
So how exactly does a sign contain nuts?
From Keith Shirley:
And to make it worse – the warning is on the wrong side – the arrow points to empty space.
