I was down in Cork over the weekend, as my family hadn’t seen me since Christmas.
As it was my birthday the previous weekend they’d a couple of little things for me – never a bad thing!
My sister, who is about ten years younger than me, seems to have an uncanny knack at finding me really cool presents. She got me a gorgeous Lord of the Rings mug from the souvenir shop at the London stage show. She knows I’m a bit of Tolkien fan (still jealous that my mother’s seen the show about 3 times!) and that I like to collect mugs (even if it’s not intentional)
Very cool!

From Francesco:
Did you get our wonderful Ascio mug?
From Michele Neylon:
Did you send me one?
From Francesco:
I am not your account manager
Give Richard a call and he´ll send you one (if we are not out already)
From Michele Neylon:
I just emailed him
From Francesco:
hahahah…
Btw…how does the coffee taste in the .EU mug?
From Trinity:
A belated Happy Birthday to you then!
From Michele Neylon:
There’s a Eurid mug? Damn ! I think my suppliers aren’t being generous enough!
From Michele Neylon:
@Trinity – thanks
From Francesco:
Oh, I thought you had gone to the EURid´s Registrar lunch in London a few months ago… they gave one to each registrar
From Michele Neylon:
Nah. I had a meeting with them in LA during the ICANN meeting. They didn’t even give me a free pen
Getting to the registrar lunch in London would have been painful, so I didn’t even try
From Francesco:
Mate, I doubt they would carry their merchandising crap across the globe just so that you can have your .eu mug
From Michele Neylon:
Francesco – Maybe they’ll bring some cool stuff to Paris
