US Post Office Star Wars Set

by in cool, design, philately

I don’t keep track of the US post office‘s stamp releases, though I really ought to, as they release some really lovely stamps every year.

They did a set of Star Wars themed stamps which look really tasty:

    I know you’re a man of a diverse and surprising array of talents and interests but I never took you for a budding philatelist too. Where do you have the time…

    As I mentioned on one of my previous stamp / philately related posts, it used to be one of my hobbies growing up. I didn’t do much for quite a long time, but I’ve recently started collecting FDCs from Royal Mail and An Post

    Many people return to the hobby later in life, as it’s a wonderful way to relax and escape the rigors of life, while still keeping the mind active. You should consider returning to the “dark side”, known as stamp collecting!

    @Allen – full on stamp collecting is unlikely. I’ll stick to first day covers for the moment :)
    @James – I worry about you at times :)
